I Quit Smoking

I almost smoked a cigarette today. It's the first finials week since I quit and I was feeling stressed. I saw a classmate smoking and I wanted one so I asked for a cigarette. I was about to light it whenI thought what if I became a full time smoker again, so I gave it back.

I know it's great. I don't stop and get cigarettes every day any more. I also don't have to stand out side on a day like tomorrow when the wind chill makes it feel like sub zero.

@Ivytasha: Everyday how many pack did you smoke a day? Do your parents smoke?

@updown2020: I smoked any where from 15 a day tosometimes a pack and a half. My mom smoked but quit when she got pregnant with me. Started again a few years ago now she quit again.

I smoked my first cigarette on my 18th birthday. It was a I can legally buy cigarettes now thing.

@updown2020: yes at eighteen. So about 4 years.

@updown2020: I wanted to try it I guess, I think I wanted to control something in my life with out my mom. I was never really rebellious and I love my mom but events when I was in my teens complacted things.
