Yes I smoke!!! SO WHAT?

I got it again today in the city. Why can't other people just don't care if I smoke or not and if I put my little son in the other hand or not !?!? Everyone always thinks that as a smoking parent you are immediately bad ... Why? Why can't these people just keep them out of the lives of others. I see so often people who stand out negatively to me, especially when they carry their naughty-missbehaving children with them, but still, I don't have to show or tell them that or get artificially upset about these people

Because your smoking causes asthma, etc., and death.

The smoke isn't solid chunks of rock which fall to the ground and can be avoided, picked up, etc., right?

It isn't liquid which you catch in a cup and dispose of, right?

It's in the air--it moves around. You can kid yourself all you want about "putting [your] little son in the other hand" but he's getting exposure...not only to smoking and the smoke/poisons, but to how to pretend that your life--which you are throwing away!--is more important than anyone else's, including his.

Oh, and to how to lie to yourself about your addiction and justify it with hatred.

Yes, every time you reach for a cancer stick, you are choosing it over your own life and over your "little son". Mothers and fathers are supposed to hold their children above all others, etc., including above their addictions.

Yup, that's great parenting.
