And love a good quote: [I Smoked Pot]

Coincidence is Gods way of remaining anonymous.

Albert Einstein

Stephen Hawkins died on 3/14... The most common number for infinity.

It was Einstein's birthday.

Both were 76.

I love this quote.
My mom-ish used to always tell me, "there's no such thing as coincidences, it's all part of God's plan".
I'm not religious, but I love the sentiment.

I was kidding, @NankerPhelge. Of course I remember.

I thought coincidence was when two, seemingly not connected, incidents occurred at the same time.

Incident: an occurence of an action or situation that is a separate unit of experience.

Coincidence: a situation in which events happen at the same time, in a way that's not planned or expected.

You might be right, I'm not a linguist.

@rottenrobi If my dad's old dictionary did not have the word "incide" in it, then "incide" cannot be a word because my dad told me when he bought that dictionary that it had every word in it, and of course I took that as literally then at 7 as I would now at 58. Since "incide" is the root word of "coincidence", that means the nonexistence of the word "incide" renders the word "coincidence" meaningless and nonsensical, doesn't it? How much more logical can one be?

@NankerPhelge Lol. I'm done with this discussion.
Believe whatever you want, based on the tools you were given.

There is no such thing as coincidence. I found out that before I found out there was no such thing as Father Christmas. It was another decade before I discovered that there was no Great Man in the Sky looking down on us and watching our every move.
