I Grew Up In a Smoke-filled Home

Well.....kinda!

I spent my first couple of years of life living with my mum, a very heavy smoker, and then, from around 5 years of age onwards, I stayed with dad who didn’t smoke.

From 13 onwards I spent time between them both, as they were separated, and that was fine....

I think, because of just how glamorous mum was - and is - and her smoking that just made me want to start up too....

Ashtrays, near overflowing, were always in mum’s house. I rarely seen her without a cigarette either in her mouth or between her fingers.

All that cultivated my love of smoking, of the smell of cigarettes and of being a smoker myself.

Kinda the same too lol.

I remember one time being at the pub when I was 14. It was a cold night, so all the window's and doors were shut. The pub was also poorly ventilated, so the cigarette smoke was like pea soup fog. Next minute I started feeling dizzy, but happy about it. I also started feeling nauseous, so I started lying on the ground. Next minute I noticed one of the bar staff had a very short skirt. Mum must of noticed I was looking, because she started guiding the waitress away from my line of sight.

So that's the story about the first time I got high off of nicotine
