I Do Not Smoke

Gave it up over 3 years ago one of the best things I ever did one of the hardest things I've ever done.
If I found out today I had 3 months to live the first thing I would do is go buy me a pack of cigarettes I miss them to this day I've had dreams about smoking a cigarette and oh goodness it was good.
And to all those are still trying to quit good luck if you don't succeed at first please don't give up you'll be so glad you did when you achieve it and are able to join this fantastic group

I quit several years ago. 😌 I feel so much better for doing it. I don't miss it at all.

When I quit smoking many years ago I had the same dream over and over again: I found myself smoking a cigarette, in my dream, I frightened vehemently and I panicked, and felt extremely guilty, and then I woke up — and realized it had only been a dream, and I was incredibly relieved: I was still a non-smoker.

@helenS I'm glad you made it!

I was crying one day because I couldn't quit.😢I went in my garage (where I always smoked) and started praying for God to help me!🙏🏼A few weeks later I went to a funeral and fell down the stairs winding up in the hospital!😳Needless to say you can't smoke in the hospital and I was in such shock that I never missed it. I had to stay in a nursing home for a month because I had no one at home to help me. I broke my ankle on both sides, my foot didn't even look like a foot?! I have rods and metal all through it now, but I don't smoke anymore!🎉🚭️

@Peaches Oh wow Peaches, I am so glad you made it but hate the way it happened. I quit in June of 1985, thru prayer, and it took 3 weeks, no more craving, no more desire, whom the Son sets free is free indeed!!

OH MY, dreams huh? There is a spirit behind the nicotene, that wants to keep you hooked. The man that actually brought my smoking to a standstill said after 19 years of freedom that he still dreamed about cigs.
This tells me that there is more to this story. And to back it up, I quit thru prayer. three weeks and i was over it. No more craving, or even desire, all gone. There is power in the blood!!That was in June of 1985, Yah, another birthday!! Born again and loving it!!
