@helenS I actually enjoy drinking alone. I did the social thing for too many years - but I seldom drink to excess nowadays.

@ArtieKat Do you drink to get drunk when you drink alone? Or just do enjoy a glass of wine of two?

@helenS Usually whisky - wine is just to accompany meals lol. No, I no longer consciously drink to get drunk - I just [i][b]like[/b][/i] booze!

@ArtieKat My favorite summer drink this year was [i]Garibaldi[/i] – a mix of 1/3 Campari Bitter and 2/3 freshly pressed orange juice. 😋
Summer's over now, so I fell back on my usual [i]Amarona della Valpolicella[/i].
