ARGHHH! Trying to get my pharmacy to STOP sending drugs
When the fact that I was having “absence seizures” earlier this year was revealed, the doctor prescribed a drug to control those seizures. I am grateful for that. It seems to work very well.
All good.
But the mail order pharmacy appears to think I take this prescription 10 times a day, even though it’s twice a day.
I just was notified they were going to send it again. I already have three unopened bottles and half of another. The labels fade fast until it just looks like yellowish paper - unreadable.
A very pleasant customer service lady explained repeatedly what was happening. I KNOW what’s happening. That’s why I called.
She did agree, reluctantly, to stop the most recent bottle until I ask for it.
That only took twenty minutes.
I am grateful for the medication but there can be too much of a good thing.
