Or go to a Vet! I had an old dog with some dementia and couldn't relax. She was prescribed Diazepam (Valium). It didn't work for the dog but I took them. lol

Avoid Xanax! Nasty, highly addictive and dangerous drug.

Through a doctor. A psychiatrist or really any general practitioner can prescribe it. But it's not easy to go straight to anti-anxiety medication without some therapy or trying out anti-depressants first. If they say they have anxiety and can't sleep they might.

You don't want that shit! It's highly addictive and it builds up in your so you keep needing more and more Until you max out. It is hell to get off off and that takes about a year and a half if you're lucky.
Get a prescription for Buspirone instead. It works about as well and is non-addictive.
