A lady I support is in a really difficult place.

She's using one of the really bad drugs, getting into dangerous situations to get it, and her partner is using her addiction to control her.

There's no big movie-ending solution to things. It'll take little steps from her and from others over a long time period before anything gets better.

That's it. There's no moral or positive spin or "I wish I could do x" I can wish for a pineapple then go out and buy one. If I wish there was more I could do to help her, it's a waste of a wish.

This was rambly.
Live tribally they had a sound society for thousands of years. Civilisation is sick.

The real drag is that addiction today isn't what it was even ten years ago. Not sure what her drug of choice is but fentanyl is bound to be in it at some point. Lost a very long time friend last year who, I guess, thought he was invincible. Not much you can do. You can support addicts trying to get it together but you can't make them stop. It's a solo.
