I Don't Do Drugs
I once had a terrible experience with prescription drugs and alcohol which put me off taking drugs recreationally for life.

You shouldn't mix alcohol and prescription drugs (at least not before checking to see if its safe to do so), that's just common sense. It shouldn't put you off drugs since it wasn't the drug by itself, it was only because you mixed it with alcohol. But that putting you off recreational drugs, when it was a prescription one, makes no sense at all.
