I Think Smoking Around Children Should Be Illegal

You guys would have hated my childhood. My mom smoked around me all the time. She smoked in every room of the house (which was always so smokey) and in the car with the windows closed. Anytime I was around I was in clouds of her cigarette smoke. She was what you would call a rude smoker too...always waving that lit cigarette in front of my face. She would even light up at the dinner table when I was still eating.

It might have been subconscious on her part but I really think she wanted me to breathe in her secondhand smoke. It was like a power thing if that makes sense. She was strict and would call me over to the table to lecture (or yell) at me about things and I swear everytime she said "come here" she would pull out a cigarette and light up. It's like she wanted to be smoking the entire interaction. As she would yell at me her smoke would go in my face and I would see that smoldering cigarette in her hand and she looked like such a b*tch.
