I Hate the Smell of Cigarettes

It wasn't till I gave up at 21 that I realised what I smelt like because others round me stunk of cigarette smoke and when ever I was around them all my clothes stunk as well .Its horrible and antisocial and I would never smoke again never mind being bad for your health .

I only smoke cigars. I heard the tobacco in it is not as disgusting as cigarettes but cigar is strong

I actually like the smell and always have, it's when people smoke indoors that it stinks for me.

I wish my husband didn't. It's my only gripe with him.

Cigarettes were actually advertised as having medical benefits when I started. And I distinctly remembering the doctor encouraging my asthmatic mother to try it as a way of toughening her lungs up. You can't go from that sort of shit to expecting people to be able to cease and desist after a 50 year addiction.

Agreed. And it’s not like we don’t know how detrimental they are to health, both the smoker’s and that of anyone inhaling.
