Drug Law Poll

Poll - Total Votes: 6
I think they are fine how they are now
I think they are too harsh
I think they are fine how they are except mariquana should be decriminalized
The penalties are fine, but there needs to be more jail time given
I think they need to be more severe
The penalties are fine, but give mandatory rehab time often, sometimes on 1st offenses
Things should be like they are in Singapore, long terms and death penalty for some traffickers
Penalties are fine but jail users and dealers first offense, no diversion

You may vote on multiple answers, up to 2.
The poll I made earlier had a mistake in the options offered, two answers were redundant. So I'm doing it over here with more choices. You can vote twice too, in a situation where two answers apply to your overall philosophy on the issue.

What do you think of the drug laws in the United States?

you left off "The politicians forgot what happened when alcohol was made illegal and how it made criminals rich and powerful"

It's like censorship on freedom.

@FloorGenAdm Yea, that's all well and nice about freedom to put what you choose into your own body. However, the problem with that is the issues that exist when people can't responsibly handle certain subtances.

The communities where the substances proliferate end up being the collateral damage. The effects of which are suffering, misery and death.
