My sister is smoking meth!

I had my suspicions for awhile. Having been addicted myself I saw all the signs, but gave excuses for them not wanting to believe. Then a mutual friend was visiting her and saw the pipe.

Knowing for certain devastated me. I was so hurt and angry. It.triggered a lot of.old feelings. I couldn’t confront her because of our mutual friend. Even if I did, she would lie.

It’s been 4 months since I found out. When I see her my heart breaks. I’m not angry anymore

I hate meth!

Wouldn't your sister be near your own age?

There's a point in life where you must become your own person and responsible for your own actions.

I don't like any drugs. Yet I would never consider attempting to control my far older siblings lives.

They are responsible for themselves.

@Silverlady You are not going to change her is my point.

The time to had done so would have been when she was eight years old.

I truly stayed away from drugs because of my father taught me what was happening with my mother, at a young age.

She was an alcoholic! For the rest of her whole life!

@DeWayfarer Addiction runs in our family. Her daughter died from an OD. Our dad was an alcoholic.

@Silverlady There's not much you can do. Just love her as best as you can.

BTW I took care of both parents until they died. You have to look beyond the problem, to just take care of them.
