have you ever taken edibles? what was your experience?

Went out with my friend for a night on the town yesterday. Everything was going great until I had some of his edible candy. Did not feel the effects until 40 minutes to an hour later. We were eating at a restaurant and I started feeling weird. Felt like I was drunk but way worst. Had little control over my body, as if my body and mind were reacting at different speeds. At one point I could not stop chewing and felt like I was gonna choke. On the way back home why on the train, people were having conversations with us. I was still feeling the effects a lot but was still able to communicate. Everything was in slow motion so I am not sure how I looked like to them. Just hoping I did not tell them any personal info, even though I remember most of the things that we talked about. I will never take edibles again and will stick to drinking. I don't like having full control of my mind and body. Some moments I felt like I was gonna lose it. But did not wanna appear crazy in front of people and tried my best to stay calm and normal.

edibles can be extremely potent. i only trust the ones i make. they're potent, too, but i know how to divide them. one brownie recipe is good for 48 servings. i wrap each individually and then put in a freezer bag and store in the freezer with a warning on the label. a newbie would do good with half a piece... maybe even a fourth. they are so good but you can't have more than that or else too high

@pentacorn so, do you cook the stuff in butter before making the brownies.

@Tastyfrzz i use a small crock pot to make an oil/butter/ghee (whichever you prefer) infusion (start on high, reduce to low after 30 mins, let infuse for at least another hour and half. i've gone as long as 4 hours by accident) adding 1 tsp more than the recipe calls for to make up for the loss with straining out the solids.
