What are the benefits of smoking cigarettes?

In 1983 I started to search for the benefits of smoking. In 2010 I gave up, finding only the transient nicotine spikes in my bloodstream that resulted from inhaling a lit Marlboro Red as some benefit. That's about it. Consolation prizes were nicotine addiction, shortness of breath, rejection by others (you smell like a barn stall), near COPD, a partial loss of lung function, and an expensive habit.

Nothing good comes from smoking. Need to relax? Meditate. Don't smoke to relax or "take the edge off". :)
