Of course, 2% alcohol can get you drunk. It's not about the percentage, it's about the amount you consume in a given time period. 10% is higher than most beers, and pretty average for a wine. When drinks are properly served, they all have about the same amount of alcohol per serving. A shit = to one can of beer = one glass of wine = one cocktail.

@Thespis Reminds me of a conversation I overheard at a restaurant. There was a pie on the dessert menu that had some alcohol in it. At the table next to us, a guy asked the server if he would be allowed to order it, since he was a minor. She said sure. "You would have to eat about 20 slices to get drunk." He said, "I'll have 21 please."

@DrWatson haha yeah sometimes there’s another additive that will make you sick long before the alcohol. Depending on when the alcohol was added the pie might not really have any in it. Alcohol has a very low evaporation point so it doesn’t take long for it evaporate when cooked. So, while adding whiskey to a cake will give you beautiful oak flavoring it will not actually have alcohol left in it. Same for cooking chicken in a red wine.

@Thespis I know. I don't think anyone took that conversation seriously. 😄
