I Think Personal Hygiene Is Important

I think personal hygiene should be focused on healthy living more than sterilizing the body. Our culture (USA and first world to some extent) sometimes gets obsessive.

I enjoy the rich and real smells of a woman who has been active more than I do the sweet scents often used to hide such things. I much prefer the lingering scent of tea tree or lavender oil on a woman than a commercial deodorant. Many deodorants (read aluminum containing) are likely very unhealthy for us, and habitually suppressing perspiration can't be healthy!

I also enjoy a hint of garlic or even cigarette smoke on a woman's breath over watching her run to the bathroom to scrub her mouth with flouridated artificially minted foam after every meal or snack... sure... morning and night is a good idea... prevents gum disease, etc.. but not after every bite!

But then that may be just me... I'm a bit of a nature-lover...

Jake, you are correct in your assumptions.

the aluminum in anti-perspirants is one of the leading contributors to breast cancer, our bodies need to sweat to remove the toxins in our bodies. bras also contribute to breast cancer, squeezing, binding, pushing up. the lymphatic system is passive relying on the breasts movement to engage and drain these harmful toxins we out on our bodies.

sterilization in our hand soaps, antibacterial items isn't good for our immune system. it actually hinders more than helps, because when our body comes in contact with an allergen, it doesn't know how to protect and fight against it because it never built up the antibodies to do that.

the lavender and tea tree oil that you mentioned are good natural fighters that come along side your bodies own natural defenses killing off invading organisms. the acidity in vinegar also is a natural sterilizer that doesn't play havoc with your own immune system.

garlic is one of natures medicines. it lowers blood pressure and bad cholesterol with out the harmful side effects of statin drugs. doc yes don't mention that long term use of statins is a contributor to dementia.

keep staying clean....naturally!
