Edoardo will be home from Naples today.
I can’t quite believe how many meetings his parents call for the family businesses, they have a corporate board and they have the owners. In keeping with the principles they extol every action is open to discussion and the business prospers. It might seem counterintuitive but it’s true!
He will have a few days of work from home and then the next round of trips will be scheduled and he will be working from his suitcase 🧳 and we will seldom see him for a while. He has assured us that after we are married he will travel less, certainly his weeklong absences will be fewer than we have experienced so far.
Chiara went to school looking a little dejected and she wasn’t forthcoming about what was the matter. I know she’s expecting her period but it was a little more than that, or my intuition is not up to scratch. I will be on hand if she needs me, but I do have a dental consultation shortly.
