@samueltyler2 i did. they said yes lol. but i am going to get a 2nd opinion. i know some dentists are just money hungry & wanna do root canals bc of the money lol

My son il is and fil was a dentist. Root canal and crown saves the structure of the tooth, the preferred approach. The alternative, extraction and implant is a more expensive and less optimal approach. I once had a bad tooth that had root canal and I continued to suffer, the root canal was repeated, at no cost. Eventually a fracture of one of the roots was discovered leading to an extraction. The oral surgeon suggested watchful waiting before any implant. It was a moose so not seen. I still have the empty space.

@samueltyler2 your teeth didn’t shift and move any once the bad tooth was extracted? how many years ago was this?

They should be fine.. i had my back molars removed..
With a tooth abcess, shifting teeth is the least of your problems!
