Teaching your pubescent child about how their body needs care

My daughter is well into her puberty phase of growing up to adulthood and she and I have had those conversations about personal cleanliness so that now she spends a lot more time in the bathroom than she ever did before.

It really is a rite of passage to have her changing and also not being able to get into the bathroom so easily!

We don’t have locks on the bathroom door 🚪 as it is the only bathroom in our apartment and if someone is soaking in the bath 🛁 and you need the toilet 🚽 it will be available to you.
