It's cold outside again! Light rain... I'm happy to be having this little home...:)

I'm thinking of how tomorrow if it continues with the rain I want for a change to have a little spa day. Maybe light an early fire and warm water to take a proper shower indoors... I've done it a couple of times with the indoor shower, it takes a little installation..but it'd be nice to have a proper spa day, take care of my nails and skin... I'd like that, some music maybe... Let's see...:)) I'm happy for this idea.

I'd love to have a wood burner with a glass front, not for the heat but because there is something special about sitting beside the flames. I do have a Jøtul combination paraffin and wood burner but it's all fully enclosed. Sitting next to it is cosy but it would be so much better if I could see the flames. Plus my chimney needs renovation so it will all have to wait until I decide to get the chimney fixed and a new burner installed.

So for now, I envy you!

@ninalanyon oh no mine also it's enclosed and you can't see much, I opened the door to add wood and that's when I took the picture. Look how it is

@being Yes, I know, it just reminded of how much I like to sit next to a visible living fire. I could open the door on mine too but then I'd have to remove the woollen rug from in front of it for fear of sparks scorching it.

I love a good shower, clean clothes and a snuggle down. Getyourself a nice bottle of wine and listen to the rain.

Yes it's lovely when things are clean... Though the level of cleanliness I can achieve here isn't the maximum but it still gives a great refreshing feeling..
