I don’t know, but it sounds like it’s in your blood stream. Did you put too much on. Read the instructions.

Did you wash your hands thoroughly? Maybe it was still in your hand, and you ate something. I really don’t know. I used it once, but didn’t taste it after application. @LoneGirl101
