My dentist advises that I shouldn't use water until I need to clean the brush - it dilutes the good that the paste will do, your saliva is enough lubrication.

@itsok I've just worked out what I think you meant. I thought we were talking about oral hygiene....and then....

@CharlesRomsey We are 😳 so many people aren’t informed on proper hygiene. Thank you for your tip.
@CharlesRomsey haha this provided insight I had not considered..I'll most definitely consider the saliva lubrication movement 😈 ;)

I live in a building that is about 135 years old. The pipes are in very bad shape, a lot of rust in the water and who knows what else. I let the water run until the pipes have cleared. Sometimes that is several minutes. The more water that goes through this place the healthier everyone is. I read recently that even in a brand new house you should let the water run for at least a minute before you use it.
@hunkalove good to know thanks for that tip

But if you're brushing faster, aren't you wearing your enamel down?😅
@SW-User I might be I had no idea my teeth had that this is what happens when I think I'm doing something good duality kicks my butt
