I wonder why i'm still single sometimes.

I spend probably over 20+ hours a week with hygiene, self-care, shaving, and basically being my peak self. Just to go out once or twice a month to meet people 🤣. Plus I hate going anywhere by myself.

I think it takes more than just taking care of yourself. Time has been my biggest friend when meeting the right person.

@666Maggotz Of course, but I have to be able to care for myself before I care for another person. (Physcially and mentally as well. Just a rule I live by). I get you though. I'm just impatient and try not to leave things down to time or chance. : 3

To be fair. I entered a relationship I shouldn’t have because I didn’t leave things to chance. I met someone I truly adore that swept me off my feet by pure mistake and went through a whole mess over it because I wasnt available to him (we are now but it led to unnecessary heartbreak). Sometimes it’s better to leave things to the universe. @LilacNCoffee

@Miram True. Though I just have strong urges to care for another being on a intimacy level 🤗. Lowkey feel like mother to my friends as well because i'm so nuturing😂.

go to places, events that you have deep interest in, not to meet folks to enrich you own life.
there, you will meet like minded people

as far as self care; basic self care is good, keeping yourself super polished 100% of the time never paid off for me
