@SW-User I’ve been to England, I was in London and Oxford. My ancestors were from Oxford and Kent. It was absolutely beautiful there, not drab at all. You’ve been there too long and can’t see it with fresh or romantic eyes.

It is only in the years since Brexit it has become drab. The lockdowns added to peoples isolationism. Look at their faces.

The roads are full of potholes, the health service is on its last legs, people are much poorer.
