Feeling like I should be single

Yesterday I cried myself to sleep because I couldn’t understand why my boyfriend would tell me “to deal with it “ after I told him I don’t like when he does something . I just feel like when will god ever send me a man that will respect my feelings and take into account the things I don’t like.

When you trust someone enough to be open in that manner ,to express that a behaviour they do is hurtful ,and they instead become defensive and deflect it back to you before shutting down ,it's normal to feel upset. His response is a reflection of him ,not you ,and his inability to take accountability for the effect his actions have on you . Please ,do not remain in a relationship where your partner clearly doesn't respect you enough to least consider your feelings ,when you're being vulnerable enough to share them in the first place.
