I Am a Virgin

All my friends have already lost their virginity and have been putting pressure on me to lose mine as well. I'm not completely opposed to it but I'm worried that I'll end up regretting it or that my inexperience will just be a turn off for the other person. I don't have a boyfriend either, and it would feel wrong to just lose it to a stranger, but my friends have said it's easiest losing it to someone you don't feel too much of a connection to, because it won't be as bad if you break up with the person you lost it to or something? I'm just very lost.

I don't think you want to lose your virginity. I think you want to give it to someone you love and trust, and who you know is going to respect you, and treat you with all the tenderness and kindness you deserve. It's not a race to the finish line. The first one to lose their virginity is not necessarily a winner. Take your time, and you will be glad you did.
