I Am Single

How do I find a man who won't mind me being a housewife? He doesn't have to be rich but just able to support us both on one income. It seems like every man I see is strongly against the idea of me staying home and are deluded by feminists ideology (I am not a feminist).

Well it's stressful on them most of the time unless they are established in their mid 30's and even then it is a lot to take care of. Wouldn't it feel better to not need to depend on anybody.

@UsuallyInvisible: Not everyone is like you.

I fail to see where I said everybody was? I'm actually for the most part a house wife (I work 2 days a week on the weekend when hubby is off). I don't enjoy it. @lovecatsnothumans:

@UsuallyInvisible: You're not a housewife.

My husband makes 95% of our income. It's close enough and I hate it. @lovecatsnothumans:

@UsuallyInvisible: Why hate it? You're lucky.

I just like having responsibility over my life. My parents used to hold the fact that they basically "owned me" as far as I'd be homeless and I never want anybody to have that kind of control over me. @lovecatsnothumans:

@UsuallyInvisible: Then get a higher paying job?

That's what I am in the process of doing. I have a degree, but that isn't enough these days. Anyway, I was just answering your question. @lovecatsnothumans:

@UsuallyInvisible: Just be grateful you have a man who can support you, So many women wish they can stay home and take care of their kids. Now, feminism has forced women to work along with taking on motherhood, which is a disaster.
