I empathise Ashly. Hope you’re ok x
Wait, so you're available?

How ya doing?
@Ashly, yas swipe right 🫠
@sstronaut For a minute, I thought you didn't have legs.
@Magicianzini my legs always seem to go missing

Reject · 31-35, M
I betrayed myself. It was a mistake for sure. But one I do wish they had stayed for.

Ashly · 26-30, F
@uncalled4 me neither, I was trying to show that despite our differences, we’re still the best of friends
Ashly · 26-30, F
@sstronaut preferably Catholic, but Christian at least. Go to church at lest once a week, a few times during special events.

I’m a moderate conservative. I voted for Trump but I’m not MAGA.
There’s plenty of issues that I don’t agree with him on but Kamala would have been a disastrous choice.
@Ashly Can we agree that both final choices were disastrous choices?

But the church thing seems reasonable
TheWanderingMind · 41-45, M
Your not betraying yourself, compromising your values or lose who you are just to keep someone in your life. The right person should add to your peace, not require you to sacrifice it
Ashly · 26-30, F
@TheWanderingMind this ⬆♥
You are just being true to you and what makes you happy.
ineedadrink · 56-60, M
He hasn't tried to make it all up to you, promising to do better? Or have you said "nope, not going back there"?
Ashly · 26-30, F
@ineedadrink he has but idk, I feel like the relationship is gone. 😔 I can’t look at him the same way. I don’t hate him but I don’t think we can ever get back
ineedadrink · 56-60, M
@Ashly Understandable. And as has already been said, better to find out now.
Ashly · 26-30, F
@ineedadrink exactly ☹
lovingdead · 36-40, M
sacrificing parts of yourself for a future with someone who's not willing to do the same, is not a wise investment. (coming from someone with a lifetime of bad investments)
lovingdead · 36-40, M
@Ashly agreed, when it involves someone else, I'd never want them to forgo a key element to them, because in this scenario i like them, i very much enjoy that version. i want to encourage its growth not be the cause of its diminishing.
Ashly · 26-30, F
@lovingdead exactly, there’s a limit
lovingdead · 36-40, M
@Ashly that's a tragic part of relationships, is people have opposing definitions, varied limits, and different thresholds of what's ok/healthy.
