A month or so ago I was trying to date and get "out there".

Now I'm repulsed by the whole thought and so happy to be alone. I look at loving relationships as something beautiful, passing like a sunset.

I'm not heartbroken, butthurt, longing or lonely.

I am just, satisfied by life itself.

I enjoy my solitude as well. It's good to love yourself every now and then.

That being said, I hope you do put yourself out there again. As the worlds leading expert on being along for too long, I can tell you that solitude is overrated and eventually you'll want someone along for the ride.

@GohantheThird thank you. I keep my mind open to the possibility. Someone along for the ride sounds wonderful. I'm lucky I get to be a mom too, so there's no rush. Trying seems to bring me a type of person who makes life harder.

@MarbleMarvel the right person won't make you try. It's good to focus on yourself and your kids, and seems to be the right move for now. Till then, stay open to possibilities.
