I Am Single

I'm divorced. I have been for three years now, but it still feels a little strange to be 'single' again, especially as my ex husband is now married to the woman he left me for. Does it still hurt? Of course it does, after thirty years of marriage that ended with an affair it has taken it's toll. There is no easy way to get over the love of your life shoving you aside for a newer, younger model. But life goes on, doesn't it?

We're roughly the same age,been single for 3 years as well after 27 years of marriage,I left,not for anyone else,I knew the marriage would end one day,for many years it was a miserable existence, life does go on,slowly,naturally your nervous,even though I left and it wasn't a happy marriage i still have days we're i say" what if I'd been stronger,not a push over", but at the end of the day its matter less.

I live in Newcastle,there's groups of people all over the country,the never married,widowed,divorced,there called meetups,I found a local one and it's a great way of getting out, the chances are most of your friends are in relationships,it helped me,just an idea at regaining your interest in life.
