Why I want to stay SINGLE

So many reasons. I do not want to take care of a man or his baggage anymore a lot of younger men have wanted to be with me but a lot come with baggage and good for them for taking care of their children. My kid's are grown I am done with all that. I get to see my grandchildren when I want. I do not have to cook for no one but me. I do not have to clean up after no one but me. I love it I just want to live in my peace. I am almost 60 and I do not have to be anyone's MAID, WALLET, HOUSEWIFE, OR HOLE. Never married and plane to stay that way. I use to want it all but it hasn't happened so I am finally good with it.

I’ve been single for over a year. Living alone now for over 2 years. I get what you’re saying. But I am dating someone fantastic and am wondering where it’s ultimately going.

It is your prerogative and I can only congratulate you on your decision.

There are a lot of downsides to be in a relationship but also a few good ones. It is never just all positive or negative. You are still young and you can live your life according to your wishes. I respect that.

Being single and celibate is not an easy choice and I am aware that a lot of people would not want to remain celibate because they have the feeling that something is missing in their lives.

Good for you if you are happy in that setting. You deserve it.
