I’m lonely but at the same time
I can’t get to know someone new because I have a lot of issues I need to work on.

Issues always there, doesn't mean you can't share them. Doesn't mean everyone can accept or be there either. In the end, just have to put yourself out there, be you. If someone comes knocking, and you don't think you're ready, then say no thank you and go on healing or being or whatever you need. That's what matters.
