Thankfully, my younger sis is married and provided the long desired grandkids for my mum and dad to dote on, but this doesn't mean I'm completely free from the odd remark about still being single. Does it bother me? Well, it isn't nice, either from parents, co-workers or even people I hardly know. But that's life, you're expected to mold or conform to how others think your life should be as if you have no say in the matter.
