How do you know someone likes you

I like this one girl, she is one of my friwnds we have know eachother for a 2 years or so. Shes very nice and cute and i find my self just admiring her beauty all the time. She recently gave me a very cool ring that i now wear everyday. Shes the best thing ever.

Do you know if she's into girls? If so maybe try to casually ask her if she has ever thought about dating you? Could give you an answer or give you an opening to make a move.

@msfuxksupeverything just be as subtle as you can. You could even drop a comment when you're out somewhere together like, "I'd rather date you than that girl." Just to see how she reacts. If she's that shy, you might need to try out a couple of subtle techniques before you can be confident in the answer.
