Why don't you read Genie Sayles book How To Marry Rich. Don't be put off by the title. It's full of generally good advice.

@iluvu2: I wish I had read this book at your age. But it wasn't even written until I was almost forty. It's got some fantastically good advice about how to get a guy who is worth it and how to get him to commit to you and even marry you if that's what you want.

Everyone has their own pace when it comes to finding that right person. But most of the time couples end up not investing enough time into their relationship or just weren't compatible in the first place and just rushed it.

It's gonna be tough finding that quality in a person these days but if what you say is true- Be persistent and you will find that special someone :).

@MarkPaul: Personally, this is what I believe is mostly true from my experience. It's just tough as hell since it depends on the circumstances of one's life and where they live- :(

I get that it's not going to just happen... it's just that... I don't know, you would think something would have happened by now... for me, I mean.
