Being Single is not a Tragedy! Being in the "Wrong" Relationship is!

I want people to stop saying that being single is a tragedy because I rather be single than in the wrong relationship. I'm not going to tolerate someone putting their hands on me when they're upset. I also not going to tolerate someone controlling me either. There have been so many relationships that ended up being domestic so why should I put myself through that? More people have lost their lives from being in the wrong relationship than being single. I'm sorry but I'm better off being single.

It's true that being in the wrong relationship is worse, but I think being single can be a tragedy too. One bad thing doesn't make another one all good and peachy.

@NerdyPotato Can you explain to me how is being single a tragedy? Many people think I'm suffering because I prefer to be single but if they watch those shows on ID then they would think twice. For me being single is less stress and I don't have to worry about being cheated on either.

@BellybuttonQueen83 in your case it clearly isn't then. I also didn't say being single always is a tragedy, but that it can be. Loneliness can have a deep impact on mental health too.
