Hooked up with a guy who turned out to be married

I feel like a moron.
He led me on.
He told me he was single.
In hindsight I could have known he was lieing because he was very handsome. Too handsome to be single.
I hoped that he was one of the good guys who was not lieing though.

So we went for dinner, had a few drinks and had sex.
Found out through a mutual friend that he was not single.

Feel played.
Feel used.
Thought I found a good one.

Messaged him that I knew he is a cheater.
Got a stupid silly story that he said he is single because he is in a unhappy marriage and soon to divorce and yadda yadda.
Probably even more lies.

I will probably not be seeing him anymore.
Relationships are built on trust, not lies.

A case of wanting to believe something way too much, leading one to ignore red flags..

In reality people need to take responsibility for their own part in their actions.. Trying ones best to project the image of being a victim is a waste of time.. For yourself and for those who hear your protestations..

Too many people blind themselves with the I'm a victim self brainwashing,, That's the reason why they continue to repeat the same toxic situations and the same toxic outcomes again and again and again..
