I Am Single
I hate being single. The loneliness eats away at me. So much so it hurts. But I seem to come off to every female as creepy, childish, weird or otherwise undesirable. I wish girls would take interest in me.

Maybe because you're feeling lonely, you're coming on too strong?
Best place to meet someone is where you feel comfortable and where you most feel like yourself...such as: if you're into dancing, join a dance group at a community centre...because it's something you like doing and something you know about, you tend to be more relaxed and it opens doors to talking with others.
Just go slow, enjoy what you're doing and the doors of opportunities will open on there own.

It's hard when you have an autism spectrum disorder. Social anxiety and zero social skills here.

I can relate. I developed Avoidant Personality Disorder after a traumatic incident in 2007. I've had one girlfriend since, and I pushed her away because I don't let anyone in anymore. It does get easier once you find out why you feel the way you do around women, and work on correcting it. We are our own worst enemies.

I can only imagine how difficult relationships can be for you...I have worked with autistic children and know just a wee bit about the daily struggles people with any type of autism go through. I hope soon we'll understand why autism exists and have the long awaited answers.

Agreed. Real answers without causing other problems or putting people in danger...especially unborn babies.
