It's bizarre to me that some people in the dating scene will introduce themselves with a fake name to people they have met in person with a straight face. It causes people to lose trust in others who like them, who are genuine. It's also a concern because, you wonder by them lying about their name, what their intentions were.

@jaymic64 Yes, I've had it happen to me twice. From then on, I've been asking people if they have Facebook.

It sad that it's come to this. Do you think people are just getting insecure or do they do it on purpose?@SW-User

@jaymic64 It depends. Some people might do it because they're insecure about their name or they have trust issues which is understandable. But others who do it have intentions of hurting their victim. That's what's scary about it.
