The Pot Aways Calls the Kettle Black
I am annoyed, something that’s happening more frequently as the days pass. I am willing to admit that part of the cause is me.
I ordered a jar of Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise, presumably as opposed to Hellman’s Fake Mayonnaise, which is doubtless far more expensive.
Not the point. Walmart was out of inventory at the store, I guess, and they shipped it. Okay. Not a mayo emergency.
It just arrived, my 20 liquid ounces jar of mayo, in a box that would easily hold a dozen hardback books, cushioned with a few crumpled yards of brown paper and 6 plastic airbags for good measure.
THEN, printed on the oversized box, in large Walmart-blue letters, was this admonishment:
DON’T MISS THE CHANCE TO RECYCLE
Are you kidding me?
