Well, that was unexpected!
I don’t know how this happened.
I wanted to place an order for a Walmart grocery delivery tomorrow. I’ve been doing this for six years. I kinda know how it goes.
I ordered the items I wanted, selected delivery, looked for available delivery times but the screen moved immediately to thank you for your order!
I received the notification from my payment card that the amount had been charged.
Seconds after that I got an email from Walmart to the effect that the order was being worked on and would arrive roughly 25 minutes from the current time.
That all happened. I was home and the order arrived, 32 minutes from the time I ordered.
But, but, but…considering the order had to be picked from the shelves, bagged and delivered…it was way faster than any emergency room.
You ever get the feeling that the right people are doing the wrong jobs?
