I Work At Walmart

It's 6:00 and I am about to head to lunch. As I head out to the sales floor I hear someone yelling in the backroom. "I wasn't with them,' the man kept yelling. I see four associates surrounding him. As I kept walking two cops walked by me. Not wanting to potentially disrupt anything I went on my way. I go up to the customer service desk outside the doors and ask what happened. And what I heard made my day.
He and a couple of other guys had tried to steal a trampoline. They took a trampoline, put a sticker tha said $14.50 on it, then tried to buy it. After that he was going to take it to another Walmart, put the real price sticker back on, and ask for a refund. After I told another associate he said, "I hope that guy was driving a Prius. No, he just had a bike and a little wagon outside."
How dumb can people be?
