Nah non at all, at at end of the day if you own a copy of a film it's yours to watch whenever you want. You're not at the mercy of the streaming giants or having to watch it with adverts in or anything like that.
So only downside really is the amount of space they take up.

I buy second hand DVDs and have never had an ussue. I only plan to watch them a few times before I go to that great blockbuster in the sky anyway..😷
