I Shop At Ikea
My First Piece Of Furniture.... Many of you may be familiar with my quest. It's been 7 weeks and a day since we split up. I've been renting a room from a co-worker and friend almost the whole time. When I arrived the room had a twin bed mattress on the floor and a hodge-podge of junk. I cleaned it up and got all my own stuff in it. I still sleep on the twin bed mattress but I got sheets and pillows and I have it supported by four plastic storage bins. I got plastic storage drawers to put my socks and tshirts and underwears in.
A couple nights ago I got my first real piece of furniture. I got a white Billy bookshelf from Ikea. Stock number 836.882.10 for the rest of you other Ikea freaks. I put together within about 20 mins or so. Piece of cake. I got all my books on it now. Now I can empty some boxes.
I'm a little more organized. But I need a bed. Looking to get the Sultan Hogla (502.068.95). I laid down on it a couple nights ago at Ikea. Very comfortable. But it's something like $450. I got about $150 saved up. Hoping to have the rest by the end of the month. I need a good night rest. I need a reason to want to get into the bed. I haven't had a good night rest sleep since this whole thing started.
