I wish grocery delivery was better

I don’t want 65 cents reimbursed. I’d much rather they bring me an onion that isn’t rotten so I can do my meal prep 🫩

@Ontheroad I’d really prefer not to, but I try out of desperation sometimes. I’m having to work on my day off today, so I really wanted to keep everything on schedule by having it delivered

I live in such a small town we don’t even have delivery options here. I always wished we did, but not if they bring rotten onions! 😝

@itsok Not the eggs! Yeah, I probably wouldn’t even bother with delivery at that point. They’re going to be forcing you to change meal plans! What did you do?

@itsok You’re a real chef then and I can only admire that. I remember growing up and seeing how mother could work with anything in her kitchen. It was like magic. I’m not quite that talented, but I’ll always praise it when I see it.

you can also have them pack the order at some places then you march in and inspect everything and demand to speak to the manager if it's not up to snuff

I use Instacart. It's a grocery delivery service that allows me to shop from various stores. And so far, I haven't experienced what you have but I understand your frustration. I'd rather have what I ordered than a refund/credit.
