why food products are ' mini sized' now

everything you get now - pizza's, frozen bags of veg, breaded chicken fillets, breaded fish fillets, bottles of fresh orange juice, boxes of breakfast cereals - most food products now have been intentionally shrunken in size to mini sized.

why is our population putting up with this? and your paying more for the mini sized food products now, how is this fair? why are people putting up with this?

as i mentioned before in the 80s, when i grew up, food products were normal sized and large in size

It's called "Shrinkflation".

Shrinkflation is when companies secretly reduce the size, quantity, or quality of a product while keeping the price the same (or even increasing it), making consumers pay more for less without noticing the subtle changes in packaging or unit price. Driven by rising production costs, this trend affects various goods from snacks and toiletries to paper products, often disguised by new packaging or marketing, but it effectively acts as a hidden price hike.
