Do grocery process really have to go up? Because people aren’t necessarily gonna spend more.

A lot of them are just gonna spend the same amount but by less stuff.
Why can’t they just keep grocery prices down?
I don’t understand how inflation works.

Maybe you mean prices?

But you’re right. We’ll either spent the same or spend less on other indulgences like going to the movies, shopping, etc.

Supply and demand won’t just affect that industry but the ripple effects will be felt.

@BillyMack of course it’s prices, I use voice to text and sometimes he gets it wrong. It’s much faster though.
I don’t see the point because they’re gonna get the same money and sell less things. Why not just keep things as is?

@Ferise1 supply costs for one thing. Profit margins gotta come into play for everyone. Just ends up on the consumer.

@BillyMack so ultimately people are not going to be able to afford food, and the CEO makes a profit and he doesn’t feel guilty conscience about that?
BillyMack · 46-50, M
@Ferise1 that escalated quickly. Not sure what to say man.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@BillyMack not really, this thought should appear immediately when talking about inflation or supply and demand. No one wants CEOs to profit over poor people.

@Ferise1 I mean there’s nothing I can say in support or against that will provide whatever it is you’re looking for.

So I’ll just say you’re right.
