A major Milestone

Katie took me grocery shopping this morning. she went in and came back with a handicap cart. it wasn't a Mercedes but it served it's purpose. ran into a few people I know and sure felt nice to get out. when finished I had her take it back into the store and plug it in. too many just leave them in the parking lot when done. That's fabulous that you got out. 🙂🙂🙂 Where I live the big grocery store is Publix. They automatically send an employee out with everyone in a cart. They load your groceries for you and bring the cart back. I personally like that a lot.

@Musicman We have one grocery store here that does that, Crest. They built it with a covered drive so nobody needs to get wet while they are loading groceries, if they have someone to drive it up there.

@Musicman my Italian market does that and provides valet parking but it's in the city. too far for my first trip out

@cherokeepatti We had a Safeway like that when I was a kid. Those are really nice. It would be nice if the stores here did that. Especially for our rainy season which we just entered.

@saragoodtimes I can definitely understand that. That's really nice. Besides being helpful with loading your groceries it ensures that all the carts get put back and plugged in. 🙂

@Musicman We had another store that was built in the 1970’s and had that same type of loading. But they ended up selling out in the 90’s and that was the end of it.
